Delete your Kong Lah data

Kong Lah has no accounts, so there is no account to close. Almost everything the app knows about you is stored on your own device, and you can delete it yourself at any time.

Delete data stored on your device

Your own phrases and recordings. Open My phrases, choose a phrase and delete it. Its recording is deleted along with it.

Everything at once. Do either of the following:

  1. Open Android Settings › Apps › Kong Lah › Storage and tap Clear storage.
  2. Uninstall Kong Lah.

Either one permanently deletes:

  • your favourites and recent phrases
  • your settings
  • your own phrases and all your recordings

We keep no copy, so they cannot be recovered.

Purchased phrase packs are tied to your Google Play account, not to this data. To get them back, reinstall the app and tap I already bought this.

Advertising data

Google collects ad data, not us. To stop that data being linked to your device, reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads. To manage the data Google holds about you, visit myaccount.google.com.

Ask us to delete information we hold

The only personal information we may hold is:

  • emails you have sent us, including in-app feedback
  • purchase records, which RevenueCat (the service that validates our purchases) keeps under a random, anonymous ID

To have these deleted, email contact@goodshorellc.com:

  • Use the subject “Kong Lah data deletion request”.
  • Send it from the same address you used to contact us.
  • If your request is about purchases, include the Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.).

We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.

Where the law requires it, for example for tax or refund purposes, we may keep a record of a purchase for as long as that law requires.
