Terms of use

These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your use of the goodshorellc.com website and of the apps published by Goodshore LLC (“Goodshore”, “we”, “us”), including Crash Merge 2048 and Kong Lah (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. Who we are

Goodshore LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of New Mexico, USA. Our business address is 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. You can reach us at contact@goodshorellc.com.

2. Licence to use our apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

You may not:

  • copy, modify or redistribute the apps or their content
  • reverse engineer or decompile the apps, except where the law allows this despite this restriction
  • remove any copyright or other notices
  • use the apps in any unlawful way

3. In-app purchases

Some apps offer optional paid content, such as phrase packs in Kong Lah. Purchases are made through Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s terms and refund policies.

Purchased content is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored on another device that uses the same account. Prices are shown in the store before you buy.

If something you bought does not work, email us and we will help.

4. Advertising

The free version of some apps shows advertising provided by third parties such as Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for products and services advertised by others. The relevant app’s privacy policy explains how advertising uses data.

5. Important notice about Kong Lah

Kong Lah is a communication aid. It is not a medical device and not a professional interpreter, and it does not give medical advice.

Phrases and audio are provided in good faith, but pronunciation and meaning can vary between speakers and regions. Do not rely on the app alone for medical decisions, medication doses or emergencies.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately:

  • Singapore: 995 for an ambulance or fire, 999 for police
  • Malaysia: 999 or 112

6. Your content

Phrases and recordings you create in our apps belong to you and stay on your device. We do not receive them, so you are responsible for backing them up.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve our Services without owing you anything.

7. Intellectual property

The Services are owned by Goodshore LLC and its licensors and are protected by law. This includes their software, text, audio, graphics and names.

Third-party components are used under their own licences, for example Material Design Icons under the Apache License 2.0. “Google Play” is a trademark of Google LLC.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this includes any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodshore LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of:

  • the amount you paid us for the relevant app in the 12 months before the claim
  • US$50

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Changes and termination

We may update the Services or these Terms from time to time. When we change the Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new Terms.

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling our apps. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in New Mexico have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of the country where you live requires otherwise.
